What are the Bundanoon Weekend Workshops?
What better way to spend a weekend than recorder playing with friends?
Bundanoon in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW is the perfect venue. Located between Canberra and Sydney, it is a picturesque village with cafes, shops and tourist facilities, and easily accessible by either car or train. (Bring your non-playing partners, family and friends to have a lovely weekend away).
The workshops include small ensemble playing, large group playing, and special topic groups. Professional tutors are engaged to lead these sessions.
The weekends include social opportunities to meet over the refreshment breaks, and at the relaxed workshop dinner on the Saturday night.
There is also a pre-dinner Blackboard Concert that attendees may wish to present short musical items to entertain a supportive and appreciative audience!
When/Workshop Cost?
These workshops are held twice a year. Attendees arrange their own transport, accommodation and meals. Morning and afternoon tea is provided.
The 2025 Autumn Recorder workshop, hosted by the Canberra Recorder and Early Music Society (CREMS), will be held on the weekend 10-11 May. **UPDATE** Workshop registration is now closed.
